Marešová, Kristýna ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (referee) ; Černý, Martin (advisor)
The primary object of the master thesis is creating escape route analysis in 3D model of a building. Analysis is created using mainly open source tools like PostgreSQL with PostGIS and pgRouting extensions.
Analysis and Search in GPS Data
Hrbotický, Jan ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on analysis, processing and storage of GPS data for the purpose of easy presentation by the user in the form of vectors on map. The user can easily read, edit and share his data through the system. It is a client-server interactive web application written in Typescript using the Angular framework. The server side application part is implemented in Nette, which is one of the PHP frameworks. Application uses REST Api for communication with the client-side.

Viererbl, David ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with design and implementation of GIS system for managing natural resources in web application form. For solution of this project MapServer tools, extension PostGIS of PostgreSQL database system and others were used.
Web Editor for GPX Data
Hendrych, Petr ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a web editor, which will allow the user to view and edit their recorded routes in GPX format. For each route, the user can adjust the position of the selected point, add another or delete an individual point or a selected group. The client part of the application is written in Javascript using the React library. The server part is implemented using the Django framework and the GeoDjango module. The second part is represented by application for mobile phones, that allows users to upload their actual position in real terrain from GPS device onto a server and also monitor position of other users.
Analysis of Wireless Signal Coverage
Šimek, Petr ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis describes process of design and development of the system for calculating the coverage of wireless networks, it is implemented as a web portal and written in the Java programming language. The text of the thesis describes the work with the used platforms, a description of the ITU-R calculation method P.1812, which is used for calculation electric field strength and basic information about electromagnetic waves. The main function of the system is to calculate and display coverage of wireless networks and customer management information.
Tour Routes Sharing Server
Mikula, Adrian ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Kajan, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes design and implementation of the application which can share hiking routes between several users. Thesis also explains related terms and technologies used during the implementation. Final application can present routes including all avaiable informations visualized by using multiple map canvases. Routes can be searched by various criterias, merged and exported into KML files. The system uses functions of extension PostGIS of the PostgreSQL database, algorythm of the Haversine's formula and some own algorithms.

Chmelický, Oliver ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis covers the process of reporting black dumps and organizing it`s collection. Platform creates an evidence about these collections and saves it in a database. At the same time thesis analysis and compares existing software solutions with similar purpose. The aim of the platform is to spread an awareness among people and nature lovers. The thesis also tries to show how modern technologies can help to protect environment
Database Indexing: SP-GiST for PostGIS
Matula, Lukáš ; Fröml, Vojtěch (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of the master ́s thesis is to study index methods, spatial data type objects in PostgreSQL database systems and to create SP-GiST index by quadtree in the PostGIS. The PostGIS is spatial database, which extends of PostgreSQL. PostGIS adds support for geographic and spatial objects. It is a big benefit. PostGIS has its own data types, methods and GiST index too, but there is SP-GiST index missing, therefore master's thesis was created.
Management Application for Touristic Routes in OSM
Lev, Patrik ; Chalupníček, Kamil (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
